About the BGSA

The Biological Sciences Graduate Student Association (BGSA) of the University of Calgary was established in YEAR to represent biological graduate students at the University of Calgary. We serve approximately NUMBER full and part-time Master's and PhD students.

The BGSA is governed by a six-person Executive team, who are full-time graduate students in Biological Sciences, who are part of the larger Graduate Representative Council (GRC), responsible for governing and policy development.

The BGSA represents the collective interests, but not individual opinions, of biological sciences graduate students to governing bodies of the university.​
